Meet photographer Michael Garcia of Los Angeles, Ca

Hello, I'm Michael Garcia. I grew up in the small town of Tome, New Mexico dreaming of two things: love and the bigger better things in life that a small town couldn’t offer me. When I was in high school I found my first love: art. I made art a growing part of my life and continued my passion for it through college. I attended the Art Institute of Colorado a school that began to give me the things I dreamed of as a child. I lived in downtown Denver and began refining my skill in photography. In Denver I met many who influenced me but my biggest inspiration was my passion for the beauty of life.

To me, living a rich and deeply meaningful life are appreciating that the best things in life are free. The fragrance of a flower, the feeling in your heart when you see someone you love, the stranger who passes you on the street and says “good morning” makes my life so abundantly rich.

After realizing that the best things in life aren’t things at all I began tuning my mind to see wondrous things that surrounded me. My art transformed into multi-dimensional photographic work.

I realized I had to do more to show people around the world truth and beauty without limits. I realized Denver, although a beautiful place, with beautiful people wasn't the place that was going to take me where I needed to go.

Three days after graduating from the Art Institute of Colorado I packed my bags and moved to Los Angeles. It is here where I continue to live my dream and document the beauty of life.
