NY Times Bestseller Conversations With God Goes To The Silver Screen By Irene A. Masiello After a 10-year delay and spending nearly three years topping the NY Times bestseller list with approximately 7 million in book sales Conversations with God will be Spiritual Cinema Circle's first feature length film. In collaboration with the author of this blockbuster, Neale Donald Walsch, filming is scheduled to begin in November 2005. Over the years, Walsch received multiple offers from producers to turn his book and life story into a film. He turned them all down. “Just five years before I wrote about my experience, I was homeless, with a broken neck, living in a park. I spent my days collecting cans to sell for 5 cents each just to have enough money to eat. It was important to me that this story not become Hollywood-ized,” Walsch explains. “For the past ten years I have dreamed of making this movie,” says Simon, who will produce and direct the film, Conversations with God will be a powerful, mystical, and surprising film." The Circle will finance the $1.5 million dollar project. ©Copyright 2004, 2005 Irene A. Masiello/Starlight Network News, Inc. all rights reserved.
